25 Great Wines for Spring; Saturday tasting lineup

Spring Has Sprung!  We hope you are enjoying the weather as much as we are…

In honor of Spring, we have kicked off our wine sale. 25 Great Wines for Spring, 25% off (while they last). We have chosen 25 white wines we think are great for Spring drinking, and the selection includes a wide variety of styles, varietals and regions. There are a couple of nice Italian Pinot Grigios; some California Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc; Riesling and Pinot Blanc from Oregon and Washington, and more. Look for the green signs throughout the wine section with this Spring-y picture. Discounts will ring up automatically at the checkout. Don’t wait too long though – once they’re gone we’ll be bringing in the new vintage at the regular price. This is a great chance to try something new and get a bargain.

This weekend’s tastings (free as always, from noon to 10pm Saturday) include:

  • Chateau Bonnet wine: these are French Bordeaux wines – we have the red, which is a Cabernet/Merlot based blend, and the white, which is Sauvignon Blanc. It’s not easy to find really nice French wines at a reasonable price but these are great for their price at only 10.99.
  • Our beer is Bud Light Golden Wheat. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should. Some people love it, some people hate it. But you won’t know until you try it.

Other notes:

  • Stone Old Guardian is in stock, in limited quantities. If you’re a Stone fan call and reserve yours or stop in and get it before they’re gone.
  • Also, we have a couple of bottles of the Kentucky Breakfast Stout left for public sale, first-come first-served.
  • Full size kegs of Original Coors are on sale (pre-order only) for only 66.00, reg. 82.00.

Hope to see you and a friend this weekend!

Cheers!
